Pudsey Update
My faithful furry friend has managed to pull through, and other than being rather sore and wobbly on her paws, has managed to scoff almost a whole packet of ham, washed down with some minced chicken.
She spent most of yesterday snoozing, but although we didn't make it to the park, we had a nice trundle round the garden, and she had a good bark at some squirrels before savaging a stick that she found.
She's going for a full MOT at the vets on Friday so we can find out how she's doing and get topped up with her various medicines, and is probably going to need a new one for her tummy pain. The poor little love winces if she has to be picked up, and I'm hoping and praying that it's just constipation (side effect of her painkillers) and not because of the tumour.
But she can still manage to jump up on the sofa, and get up and down the stairs, which is more than can be said for me, as last night I slipped and fell down the stairs on my bum. I now have a lump the size of a tennis ball on my left buttock, and the surrounding area is turning all the colours of the rainbow. I wonder if Pudsey will let me have some of her medicine for the pain?
Anyway, thanks to all for the prayers and get well wishes (Pudsey sends woofs and wags in return) and apologies for lack of vote-o yesterday, but I just wasn't up to thinking about anything else.
I shall make it up to you on Thursday with the tale of Pudsey and the Pasty, so please stay tuned, and normal service will be resumed as soon as I figure out just what is 'normal'.
Also, thanks to Scaryduck for covering for me yesterday!
I'm now going to go back to looking after my pup-pup, and hopefully we'll make it to the park for a hobble later if our painkillers kick in.
